Meet the Crew

"Freshwater" Phil Lumbroso
Self employed fishing addicts such as myself are lucky not to have a boss (except for my wife). From May to October, I have my eye on the local weather basing much of my schedule around when I can get out and fish. From November to April, I simply dream about and plan next season, (and occasionally go Ice fishing 2-3 times over the winter even though it's nowhere as exciting) as the lakes and Rivers around here are frozen for most of that time.
Bass and pike caught in Giles lake, August 2006.
"Largemouth" Ari Lumbroso
Nicknamed for his passion for fight big bass, and for his loud mouth, Ari is my oldest son. Born in 1995, he has already surpassed most of my personal records until the age 25.
A couple Bass caught in Giles lake, July 2006.
"Pikeman" Avi Lumbroso
Nicknamed for his obsession for Northern Pike, he has seen more of these toothy predators than your average 6 year old.
The Pikeman with his first Northern, caught in the St Lawrence river October 2006.
"Conservationist" Levi Lumbroso
Nicknamed ironically for his love of killing/dissecting fish that are keepers, at 4 years old he has bashed more fish heads than I ever have.
Pre Season Smallmouth bass caught in Outaouais / Ottawa river and live released, May 2006.
"Nono" Henry Lumbroso
Father of Freshwater Phil, got us all hooked on fishing at a young age, still comes out on the occasional outing. He also created the best bobbers in my arsenal, most of the bass and pike in the pictures were caught using them.
Nono with a small St Lawrence Northen pike, June 2006.
"Uncle" David Lumbroso
Younger brother of Freshwater Phil, usually takes the time to come along whenever good bass fishing is on the menu.
Pre Season Smallmouth bass caught in Outaouais / Ottawa river and live released, May 2006.
Jimmy Shizgal
Childhood friend, Pro Golfer, recently converted and quickly addicted to carp fishing, always up for a "cold one" with Phil.
